Atlantic Nationals & Moncton Corvette Show & Shine 2009


The Atlantic Nationals held in Moncton for 2009 just gets bigger and better every year ! July 9th,10th, 11th & 12th saw street rods , muscle cars, and every other car in between ,including corvettes of course. Longest distant award went to a Florida car and in Canada it was a car from Red Deer, Alberta .Kelly Kelly and Lois and I left Friday and met up with several members from RVV downtown Friday night.Gene Winfield , the legendary custom car builder was in Centennial Park signing autographs and taking pictures with the crowd. Sunday a $60,000.00 ,brand new custom built ,1947 Chevy pickup was given away to a lucky Northshore car guy !Saturday afternoon trophys for the Moncton Corvette Show and Shine were awarded by Moncton's President Bob Surette ! Here is a list of the winners below and a collage of the winners above.
Harvey MacAusland from CCNS with his silver 65 coupe
Daniel Lanteigne from GMCC with his 74 blue
Andre' Richard from GMCC with his 80 yellow
Art and Diane Belliveau from GMCC with their 86 grey coupe
Ted Colrin from CSNB with his 91 coupe
Hank Ellenbast from USA ( Interlopers)with his yellow 03 coupe
Roger & Leontine Bourgeois from Moncton with their white roadster
Kristi McKay from PEICC with her 05 orange coupe
Robert Gallant took People's Choice Award with his 75 orange convertible and trailer
Brian Palmer picked up the trophy for club participation with 4 more vettes than the rest
101 corvettes parked on the hill for the Moncton show !
