Sunday was another hot one and members of RVV made the trip to Minto's United Baptist Church for Sam Dow's baptism.Making the run was Tom & Lois Hiltz, John & Dawn Garwood ,Peter & Marilyn Wood, Arnie and Gloria Adams and Harley and Pat Smearer. After the service we were all invited to Sam and Cathy Dow's cottage on Grand Lakefor a BBQ .Weather was perfect other than being a little warm but I could put up with that after the summer we were having ! Hot dogs ,steaks, salads, beans, buns,lasagna...........you name it Cathy had it !
