Spring Has Sprung - R.V.V's First 2020 Run
Just
like spring brings back the flowers, the grass and the leaves so does
spring bring back the Corvette season. Sunday, May17th. marked the
beginning of The River Valley Corvette Club's Vette season. Ten
Corvettes and one Chev Spark gathered at the Boston Pizza parking lot
for a 1:00 pm. departure to St. John. After about 30 minutes of
socializing distantly the ten Vettes caravetted towards the port city
with planned detours through Welsford and Grand Bay/Westfield. The
Circle K on Fairville Blvd. provided a welcomed pit stop and the perfect
place for fellow member Dave G. to lead us on an abbreviated tour of
local sights. ( many local attractions are still closed ) We
visited Fort Howe ( amazing view ) , and did a very scenic tour out to
Rothsay before turning for home. The final stop of the run was at the
Gateway in Oromocto where members choose the favorite take-out and then
assembled in the Jungle Jim's parking lot for a throw back parking lot
snack.
