RVV Covered Bridge Tour 2011

Corvettes from the" Maritimes" : RVV, CSNB, GMCC and the Nova Scotia Club were participants in a "Covered Bridge Tour" on Saturday. Weather was great for October and there was a total of 39 corvettes taking part in the run.Lois and I never participated unfortunately. I decided the day before to check the tire tread on my vette and  there was none !!!!! I took these photos off a Facebook account ( Kelly's and Pat Smearer's ) and hope you enjoy them !

Hi all,
To those members who participated in the GMCC President's run yesterday, thank you !
It was fantastic to see 39 corvettes in a row on the roads in the Sussex/Hampton/Norton areas.   If the colors in the trees didn't generate ooo's and aaaa's, our corvettes certainly did.
I apologize for the delay in getting your playing card at the first bridge and for not having a "bio" stop before heading to Norton, but I hope everyone got through that ok.  The restaurant sends their apologies to the couple of tables that were late getting their food.  Marty did the best he could in letting them know the numbers ahead of time and I don't think it was for lack of servers (who took the orders to the cook, one table at a time). I think they just fell behind with the quantity of food we were consuming.   Not sure how that could have been handled differently other than to split us up.
But I hope that the day was considered a success.... lots of friends from the NS and 3 NB clubs.   It is great when we can all get together like that.
Thank you again for coming on our run.
Roger Bourgeois GMCC
